W e can't teach our kids to care for the planet, but destroy it ourselves. We can't tell them to love their kin, whilst we hate one another. We can't keep thinking the worst is yet to come. Look around you: do you like what you see? Did you like what you saw 60 years ago? Things are bad, yes, but they've always been bad, they're only worse, AT LAST. Things getting out of control might be the best piece of news for humanity: at least, there is room for hope again. The unbearable injustice of inequities, whether afflicting humans or nature, might burst out in bright, non-complacent, daylight. AT LAST. It's been a long wait through decades of fraudulous success models and delusional mirages of endless growth, a long wait for high-profile, brave politicians to serve a cause and not themselves. This is an exceptional time, a perfect time for outstanding personalities to emerge. People who walk the talk, who have had enough of words, who want to see action. This, I believe, is the common objective that unites BIOMARINE supporters. Maybe we'll fail, but at least the will is there to be different and to lead to change. Real change, in real life.
